Nokia 1100 (or similar, eg. Motorola) adapter cable that is effectively a PL2303 (standard chip, with win32 and linux driver) based USB - serial converter (some notebooks don't have RS232 port). This is primarily for
- experiments
- under-development board designs (we leave off the max232 voltage converter from mainboard, and have it in the DB9 housing when necessary)
Note that this does NOT have max232 in it, so the voltage lever is not -/+8V RS232 compatible (which is required to connect to genboard v2, v3 in the standard way - unless the onboard max232 is bypassed) .
For RS232 compatible adapter check USB to RS232 adapter cable (available soon), or the small max232 voltage converter (available sometime later) circuit.
