1.8m long miniDIN6 male .. miniDIN6 female straight-through cable (6 wires inside). Small 4mm rubber ring included.
Example for usage: attaching keyboard to GenBoard.
- cut the male end (keep the female end with 0.5 .. 1.5 m long cable)
- insert small rubber ring into the (appr. dia=5.2mm) drilled hole of frontplate or endplate
- insert the cable through rubber ring
- blank the 4 needed wires
- solder wires onboard (1x4pin PADs with 2.54mm centerliine near the processor)
- power the board, try the keyboard, poweroff the board
- cut the 2 unneeded wires shorter
- use hotmelt-glue near the soldering to prevent wear/break of the wires and prevent the unused wires from messing around
- small amount of hotmelt glue can also come handy at the point where cable enters case (at the small rubber)
