MAT sensor (manifold air temperature sensor), also called as IAT sensor (intake air temperature sensor).
Connector is included
- 14x1.5mm thread
- open design, fast operation, low heatsoak
- NTC type sensing element (Negative Temperature Coefficient means that resistance falls when temperature rises), appr 2252 Ohm at 25C (same or very close to the sensors used by automotive manufacturers, such as Bosch, GM, VAG).
2252 table (and aref=256) is a good starting point. Some use "2063" table with 1.0.x firmware, which gives a bit lower reading than real temp (so 101C reading is actually higher temp). This trick not needed, and therefore not a good idea in recent 1.1.x firmwares where the max reading is > 150 Celsius anyway.
