Oil Pressure Sensor

22.97EUR

Oil pressure sensor. (might also be suitable for fuel pressure in NA applications, but we don't have much data about the sensor lifetime when used with fuel).
Because of the low resistance of this sensor (470 Ohm - 1k pullup needed to 5V, definitely not 12V!), for v3 Differential Pressure sensor is recommended instead, or the new linear oilpressure sensor scheduled for addition appr. 2011-06-25.

Thread is metric 14x1.5 mm
Matching connector is included. Voltage divider equation: U=Uup * Rsensor / (Rsensor + pullup).
  • Example: (Rsensor=200 Ohm, pullup=470 Ohm, Uup=5V): 5V * 200/(200+470)=1.49V
  • Or if Uup=256 (100 or 256 are often used as max values in calibration tables) than 256 * 200/(200+470) = 76
